65 Clare. As a retired GP I suggest you see your doctor. It could be due to numerous reasons e.g. arthritis, vascular, back problem. Go and get examined and investigated would be my advice. Hope it improves

Hi 65clare, I'm afraid I can't advise you on this but, if you start a new thread about it, I'm sure you will get lots of advice.

I am 68, and finding my legs and feet ache when walking, also I have problems getting up after sitting.
Is this normal for my age or should I see doc.
Would very much appreciate advice.

I wouldn't go to A & E with this but the GP surgery or Minor Injuries unit if you have one. It probably just needs steri strips.

What Nelliemoser said asap.

It probably needs a stitch or have it glued to stop a bad scar. Heads bleed easily. Get it sorted.

No Jane, just statins, omeprazole and beno-something for high blood pressure

Are you taking anti coagulents?

Had a stupid mishap yesterday morning. I had opened the drop-down door on my eye-level grill, got distracted and did something else, forgot grill door was open and walked right into it.....
DS1 who was visiting is a first aider and sorted it out, but 36 hours later it still keeps bleeding. Should I see if I need a stitch? Really don't want to go to A&E if it can be avoided.
