I've had this for many years. It is important to check yourself regularly for any changes in the appearance of the area. I use a magnifying shaving mirror. Dermovate is very good at controlling it so you may not have any problems, as long as you keep using it as directed. Good luck.

Not exactly the same but I suffered with acute pubic itch. Tried over counter creams over a couple of years with no real results so eventually saw GP and was prescribed Betnovate, cleared it very quickly and now use very occasionally if it flares up. I'm guessing that Dermovate is quite a powerful steroid so use as sparingly as possible. Hope it soon clears.

After approximately two years of symptoms and two biopsies, I've just been diagnosed with vulval lichen planus. Now on a Dermovate regime, using Dermol and Hydromol and will see my dermatologist again in three months. Just wondered if anyone else has this and would be willing to pass on any tips or advice.
