Plasters that actually stick!

You can buy spray adhesive remover, I use it for my ostomy bags and come in handy for whiney GC who don't like the plasters ripped off.

The more they stick the more they hurt when you take them off!!

Found them! they are Elastoplast Aqua Protect which are 100% waterproof and, according to the box, have 'extra strong adhesion'. Which they do. I bet they have stopped making them though, as that always seems to happen when something is really good . I used to like the ones which were shaped to go over a finger joint as they were also good for hacks on finger ends, but I haven't found them for ages.

My physio recommended using blister plasters on cuts and grazes because they aid healing and stay on for several days. They are more expensive but so much more durable. Compeed is the best known brand but others are available and cheaper.

Hydrocellular plasters stick well. They're more expensive, but you can leave them on for days.

I will look into getting some Elastoplast - Disney even! Thanks folks.

I am sporting Disney princess plaster at present, made by elastoplast, and ig is doing very well.

I got some Elastoplast ones a couple of years ago which said that they had extra strength stick, and they did. Don't have the box any more, I don't think though. I'll have a look at the back of the drawer later, but going out soon!

Another vote for the stretchy ones - I use Elastoplast as find those last longer. The waterproof ones I find useless.

I always use stretchy fabric ones they last longer but once they get wet it's only a matter of time.
