Best car features for back and neck sufferer?

Heated seats.

Well our car has all those features in spades but it is quite high to climb into. It is the most comfortable car I have ever been in and used to regularly drive to Belgium and the French riviera.

We had a car which had an adjustable lumbar support in the drivers seat. Never had it in any car before or since, and I found it a considerable help when my back was playing up. Agree heated seats are great.

Yup, heated seats, even when it’s warm outside. adjustable lumbar support and a reasonably high and easy access. Check the height of the passenger seat, many cars don’t have height adjustment for the passenger, could be helpful but if the fixed seating position is OK it’s not an issue. Just try all the seats, I suggest on a ‘bad’ day and when you are tired. Good luck.

With a lower back pain, if that is the problem; you are better with a seat which is fairly upright and where the bit you sit on is flat and does not slope up or down. We had same make as you for many years and the seats were not good as there was not a ninety degree angle between seat and back. I also use a 'wedge' to sit on.

We have had a lot of cars. In my opinion Citroen and Mercedes seating is the best for all round support.

We were recently given a courtesy car when ours was having a minor repair.
It was a Jaguar XF, loads of special effects! But the most interesting was that the seat backs were fully adjustable to meet your particular lumbar requirements.
