Yes Saga are good, they accepted us when all the others turned us down. You pay a bit more but then you can relax and enjoy your holiday knowing everything's alright if things should take a turn for the worse and you can get home. Dread to think ŵhat it's going to cost us in a few years when we go to visit our eldest daughter in New Zealand!

Money saving expert has a link to insurance for those with health issues.
Used it and got reasonably priced insurance for DH from Staysure. We are going to South Africa.
Be aware, I was going to get insurance for us both for the trip. However it worked out much cheaper to get annual worldwide insurance for myself from the same company.
If you are staying in Europe there is a site which has the travel component, luggage etc, but leaves the health side to the health service of that country. EHIC plus. Post DH first stroke we were quoted over £200 for him for a weekend in Venice and just £20 with them.
Good luck with your search

Should say though that with medical issues, Spain and USA are very expensive, Australia, not so much.

Apple, I also have been unable to get holiday insurance for self and husband who has an impressive medical history! In fact we did get one quote for a weeks holiday cover in Norfolk, we live in the South East totalling £220! Outrageous needless to say we declined. Just keeping our fingers crossed we are in full health before we go.

I have enquired of ladies on the forum previously but quite a long time since. I am having difficulty in finding holiday insurance for my husband. He is 66 and has one stent inserted, diabetic 2 and also an aneurysm. Is there anyone else with these problems who have been successful in obtaining insurance?
