I had the same problem after long treatment with high doses of Prednisolone.
The thing to know is that thrush loves and thrives on sugar. I'd strongly advise against ANY food and drink which contains sugars whether refined or naturally occurring. That includes yoghurt and kefir and milk.
The only thing I found that worked was the mouth wash Corsodyl. Swoosh it around and leave it in the mouth for as long as you possibly can. It can be hard trying not to swallow but it gets easier. This was the only thing that worked for me. It took about a two weeks of persistent treatment. Clean your teeth and have a good rinse with Corsodyl immediately after all food and drink.
It's also worth considering that the thrush may be further down the GI tract too in the throat and oesophagus. It's worth checking out anti-Candida diets.
