It makes you think.

This is a really clear video - I think it should be played on any screens in areas wher patients are sat waiting. The only thing it didn’t mention is the importance of finishing the course prescribed even when the symptoms have disappeared.

I think this film should be shown too. I must add I finished a course 2 weeks ago and now have severe stomach pain and bloating because the antibiotics have stripped my stomach of all bacteria. My GP has now advised high probiotic tablets, buscopan and a hot water bottle to reduce the pain and I just cannot eat much at all. I will try in future to avoid antibiotics unless absolutely necessary... these side effects are awful. Now I have reasons to avoid them!

We always had to have yoghurt if we were ever on antibiotics. This was to repopulate the gut flora. Lovely thought!

I haven't taken any antibiotics for over 30 years.

Very good video, and agree with M54 about the importance of finishing the prescribed course, even when feeling better.
My husband, who is in hospital, is currently 4 weeks into a 6 week course of a mix of antibiotics to kill a bug that has attached itself to his heart. They are winning the battle, but it took the microbiologists almost a week to identify the bug and to find out what combo of ab’s would kill it.

It would be good to avoid taking antibiotics, but unfortunately, in some cases they are necessary particularly for people who have compromised immune systems and may develop an infection.

It is very worrying.
