It is quite weird really - this now seems to be an annual winter problem; but I cannot remember it being quite like this when I was at school; nor indeed my children.

gilly - I hope you will be better soon - please please please do not go into work till you are truly better! You will drive yourself into the ground and give it to everyone else.

It’s fine willow I spend almost all of my time at work alone anyway, so I doubt there will be anyone to infect. Well maybe the postman but I will have him leave the post in the passageway just incase . Unfortunately I Can’t work from home as I need to “woman” the phone and do wages etc.

I hate it when it gets to this time of the year and that dreaded bug starts to appear. You probably won't feel like eating but make sure you drink plenty of fluid and stay hydrated. Could you work from home tomorrow - not good to go in and infect your workforce if you can help it?

The children have all been fine (she said touching wooden head) willow so doubt I have caught anything from them.

Yes Noro has closed a school in York for a deep clean. It's the season for bugs. Hope you feel better soon - it's more likely you've picked it up from one of the GC rather than the other way round.

Norvovirus has shut down wards in Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford . Dont know if it's rife elsewhere?

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my sob story . I do hope I haven’t passed anything onto my DGC who stayed at mine on Monday night .

I sent myself home from work yesterday with a very poorly tummy. Cramping pains and feeling very nauseous. I fully expected to be back up and running today but am still feeling very sorry for myself . I can’t remember the last time I had to take time off work (due to sickness) and although I hate my job with a passion I feel very guilty about not being there and not being able to see to the children either. I have barely managed to drag myself out of bed today . I will have to crawl there tomorrow if I’m no better as I have so much to do. I wonder if there’s a tummy bug going around ? Anyway GN has kept me company . smile
