I've been taking vit E for ages, I take omega 3 high dose as well, I have terrible problems with my knees caused by my Auto immune condition. I wouldn't say they've helped my joints as such but vitamin E has blood thinning qualities so it could be that that's helping.

That's wonderful news Lizzie, long may it continue.
I suppose you've seen this? If fish oil works, it is much cheaper than Vitamin E alone (at least where I live smile.

Have you watched the vet programme 'Vet on the Hill'? Did you see the episode in the summer where a woman brought her dog in because he could not get up on his hind legs when he sat down and had to be lifted? The poor thing was obviously in need of help. The vet sent him to the University to be examined by experts. He had all these scans and xrays and nothing showed up. Then he was passed to the animal neurologist who diagnosed neuropathy and put him on a course of vitamin E. Just a few weeks later the dog returned to the vet for a check up and it was remarkable the difference it made. The dog had no trouble standing from sitting and was running down the field like a puppy.

So I thought to myself 'will it work for me''? I had GBS which has left me with CIDP, one of the MS type of neurological conditions, which has made me housebound. So I bought some vitamin E capsules and have been taking them for about three months now and although it is not a cure and I still have to be careful, I do feel better in myself. I do not want to sound too proud as 'pride goes before a fall' but I am sure you know what I mean.
