I have been suffering from a pain high in my thigh near the groin for the last couple of weeks. More so when i am walking any where. Should i be worried in terms of it being anything serious. ??

It could be the hip - that's how mine started.
But go to the doctor, we can't diagnose for you.

Pain can be radiating from another site like your back or hip- best to get it checked out.

I suggest you ask your GP if the pain persists. Hopefully, it will stop. I often find that with ailments although I recognise you have to be vigilant with health.

I have heard that the pain from arthritis in the hips is felt in the groin so a visit to your GP would be a good idea.

I got this for a while - and a friend who is a GP confirmed that this annoying groin pain can be coming from the hips. It rarely comes back but does if I over do things - go for a long walk AND then do gardening for several hours etc. So I manage my bouts of activity and do them in shorter periods - not less just spread out. In the end I did ask for an X ray to see if there was anything to worry about and it confirmed a little bit of age related wear and tear that was nothing to worry about as long as I kept active and did muscle retaining exercises....which I do. Touch wood have had little to moan about over several years now.
