My daughter has just came out of hospital after yet another emergency admission due to her asthma, eosinophilic asthma seems to be very rare and very hard to control, has anyone any first hand experience of this particular asthma,I am so worried about her,she is in her mid thirties and constantly struggles to breathe .

These attacks are almost like the immune system attacking itself which is why eosinophilic asthma is harder to treat. I've heard of it but don't have experience of it.

I do sympathise with those who have asthma as I've seen it at its worst but at least it can be controlled with corticosteroids which have little or no effect with eosinophilic asthma where the airways become completely obstructed .
