Joce345 Wed 15-May-19 22:47:05

Don’t know about you Maggie but there never seems to be much any where about HA..
I agree with Annie Gonegirl don’t rock the boat...

Gonegirl Wed 15-May-19 22:40:07

Yes. I guess that's it.

Anniebach Wed 15-May-19 22:38:26

I can understand that Gonegirl you feel well so why rock the boat ?

Gonegirl Wed 15-May-19 22:37:32

I was amazed when she said she had no friends. She seems so outgoing.

Anniebach Wed 15-May-19 22:37:10

Hello Maggie it tried to cover a lot in an hour

Gonegirl Wed 15-May-19 22:36:19

Yes. I'm scared to stop them. Doc said I wouldn't go back to being as terrified as I was before, but I can't risk it.

MaggieTulliver Wed 15-May-19 22:35:19

Good evening everyone, hello Joce. Just watched the programme about Nadia too, hoping to glean something but found it just skimmed the surface. Lovely woman though and really felt for her when she said she had no friends. Glad she has such a good family though.

Gonegirl Wed 15-May-19 22:34:26

I find they don't do much for depression, but they have been so good for my anxiety.

Joce345 Wed 15-May-19 22:32:26

Yes defiantly glad they covered ssri, I have been on fluoxetine for 10 year, glad they work for you Gonegirl,
I don’t really think they help me but I’m scarred to stop them now...

Anniebach Wed 15-May-19 22:27:47

Anxiety does drive me, it paralyses me

Anniebach Wed 15-May-19 22:26:09

I thought it was important that they covered ssri’s, they have helped many , great they worked for you Gonegirl

Hello Dragonfly

Anniebach Wed 15-May-19 22:23:44

Tomorrow night BBC 2 at 9.00pm a David Harewood -
Phychosis and Me. He had a psychotic breakdown in his 20’s , he traces his steps meeting young people living with
psychosis and NHS proffesionals who treat them .

Gonegirl Wed 15-May-19 22:16:48

I like the way they covered Ssri's. Fluoxetine definitely worked for me. Like a miracle.

Joce345 Wed 15-May-19 22:15:50

Annie think I need to se a lot more about how they treat people.. there is that many different types She did seem to be doing well then back down as soon as her therapy stopped.. did it say it was on again tomorrow night?

Gonegirl Wed 15-May-19 22:14:18

Right. Ok.

dragonfly46 Wed 15-May-19 22:12:50

gonegirl I think she compartmentalises. That is how she does the things she does. Her anxiety drives her.

dragonfly46 Wed 15-May-19 22:10:59

I found it very interesting. Incredibly sad how she was bullied at school adding to her siblings illnesses. I also found it interesting that she has no friends. I find offloading to my friends incredibly helpful.

Gonegirl Wed 15-May-19 22:09:33

Cant believe she has real anxiety. She wouldn't be able to do all the things she does. Starting with going on Bake-off!

Anniebach Wed 15-May-19 22:03:16

Thoughts on the Nadia programme ?

Joce345 Wed 15-May-19 21:45:07
