Vitamin D... part 2

I heard that vitamin D can give you kidney stones or gravel - I hope that's not the case farview, but taking a high dose does need careful monitoring.
Are you taking just Vit D or magnesium and calcium as well?

I hope you get an appointment with rheumatology soon.

I take 50,000 units of Vit D once a week. Never had any problems.

No, fortunately, farview. That sounds worrying, please at least call 111 if you can’t get to a walk in
/minor injuries centre. I would suggest if it gets any worse a trip to A&E could be sensible. Please let us know how you get on.

Well after a few weeks on high dose prescribed vit D...awful pain in kidneys... dosage halved..blood tests tomorrow re calcium...feel really yuk...had a few painful small joints anyway re LUPUS...but today... really really tired...and tonight my right hand is huge..every joint in every finger has swollen up..hand is red... feel so off colour.
.can't see doctor until Thursday... minding poorly grandaughter tomorrow..also got dental appointment...teeth started breaking...what the heck is going on... anyone else had similar problems?
