Vagifem has so little oestrogen in it that it wont affect you at all re risks. i have used 18 months now and i have no worries
Have a look at www.menopausematters, it will give you all the information you need
I am 76 by the way, and also on HRT

I had never heard about this risk and I use it . When I mentioned to my GP ( a young woman ) that I was worried about using it as I had breast cancer in the past she said there was no proof that it went anywhere apart from where it was put in the vagina. I would think the risk is worth it compared to the misery I had before I started it . It was so painful and made life difficult. I take other medication that is supposed to raise the risk and am diabetic . I think life is too short to worry about it .

Is anyone using vagifem! Started using it 4 months ago, but worried about the risks, ie, more prone to dementia if taken when older. I am 71
