Sorry to bring up the subject but I need help! Can anyone suggest something for painful "under breast" rash? Very weirdly this only happens on one side. confused

Yes, a little mild talc ( nothing perfumed.)?

Wash and dry thoroughly, I put on a little antifungal cream - an athletes foot cream did the job, rash gone in next to no time

It's intertrigo, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intertrigo, best see your doctor as could have bacterial, viral or fungal cause?

I had this problem - and only on one side - and a medic friend gave me some steroid cream which helped a lot. Didn't want to keep using it for too long, so opted for more frequent washing which seems to have solved the problem.

Canesten works too. Especially the one with steroid added.

I had that this summer under my left boob only and thought it might be fungal so tried both the remedies mentioned (anti fungal cream and talc)
Also a lot of body moisturiser overnight.
Seems to have cleared up now.

Any anti fungal cream will do the trick.

Despite having a large bosom (G cup), I've never had this problem, but have seen it during my work as a Carer. Nappy rash cream or Canesten is best..... in the care sector, we were always told never to use talcum powder anywhere on people.

I got it too and used an anti fungal cream.
Glad I’m not the only one going mouldy. Can we blame the hot weather or it just another joy of getting older?

I used to get this quite badly (GG cup!!) and eventually discovered that tea tree oil worked a treat. I also use tea tree soap from Sainsbury's.

Wonderful! Thank you all - trip to Sainsbury's for tea tree soap and boots for the rest ?
