I do enjoy a walk but often feel a bit daft doing it on my own and it can be a bit boring. However, now I've discovered podcasts I have a brilliant time walking about. The only snag is that I'm currently working my way through old Goon shows and keep bursting out laughing. I gave one poor dog walker an awful fright recently!

Lucky are those who are energetic in their later years / i’ve been on this armchair since 10 a.m.

Does it ever occur to these pontificating medicos that nothing puts people off doing what is best for them than being constantly hectored.

Every time I read yet another of these diktats from these doctators. My instinct is to cram a chocloate eclair in my mouth (then another), open a bottle of wine and spend the rest of the week lying on a couch watching wall-to-wall box sets.

Riverwalk Sat 07-Sept-19 15:36:35

They don’t like the old girls swearing! Patronising or what.

Gonegirl Sat 07-Sept-19 15:37:19

Maybe they thought it would make everyone afraid of consulting their doctors in case they got told to eff off.

Gonegirl Sat 07-Sept-19 15:38:45

I bet they do it themselves Riverwalk. Cari definitely does. I've seen it on twitter. shock

Gonegirl Sat 07-Sept-19 15:39:04

Riverwalk Sat 07-Sept-19 15:40:23
