EMG test

No idea tanith. Except I think there is a wearable EMG device which is used to detect tonic-clonic seizures??? I think that may be from the USA though. Just some vague memory of reading it.

Definitely check it out before turning up.

My daughter has epilepsy mostly well controlled but she’s just relieved an app for an EMG at a different hospital out of the blue. I’ve tried looking but it’s not clear why they might want to do one in relation to her epilepsy.
Anyone had one and what for?

She’ll ring them of course on Monday in case the new doctor she saw a month ago ordered it in error as she normally would have an EEG. I’m just impatient and curious. ?
