Right, I’m back! You’re quite right, mumofmadboys, it is a haematoma or very probably anyway. It honestly felt so hard this morning, just like bone but he could move it, even though it hurt like hell to do so but he was quite insistent I should go and have an X-ray at 9 am tomorrow! It was a nightmare journey of about 15 miles through the dark and rain on a Sunday and I could imagine how bad it would be tomorrow. I felt as though I was wasting everyone’s time as it was, never mind going back tomorrow! I felt quite reassured that it would resolve but if it doesn’t, I’ll go back on Friday for an X-ray.
