Update on MRI

Grannyrebel, my memory isn't as good as it was - what was the MRI for ? And I'm glad you found it alright.

Well done grannyrebel I’ve had quite a few over the years and I think maybe its the fear of the unknown. Glad it’s all over for you and that the results come back fine.

Initially, it is a scary thought but as you discovered, nothing to fear.

CrazyH it was for trigeminal neuralgia. It's a really painful condition which affect the nerves in the face, controlled with medication atm thankfully. It's possible that a blood vessel presses on the nerve which causes the pain. That's what the MRI was looking for. If that's the case there's a procedure I could have which would correct it.
