Early symptom -CV (what else?)

Well I lost my sense otaste and smell for a long time a while back. The doc said it was a virus. But that was the standard answer to everything then.

Mine seemed to have disappeared after the virus I had at Christmas but now seems to have come back.

I wonder if it always happens with a respiratory condition? Or if this is something unique to COVID19?

AIBU to point out that this link was posted at 9.16 this morning to minimal interest, yet other posts refer with more or less scientific accuracy to the symptoms the article describes.
<sigh>

I expect the scientists are learning new information constantly in their search for a vaccine and as the virus progresses and mutates.

It is very interesting MawB and thanks for the link. I also learned that there's such a science as otorhinolaryngology, although the clues are in the breakdown of the word!
