Happy Boxing Day everyone.
Doodle- what brilliant news to hear your DH is home again what a fantastic present for you. You must both be so happy to be together again. I hope you were able to sleep well after what must have been a very emotional day.
Annie - well we got through the day yesterday and it turned out to be a really nice but different one. Started with Face Time from my son who is abroad then doorstep visit to my DD SiL and one GD. Made many Face time calls and so were able to see all our family and join their day if even for a short time. Late Xmas dinner just us 2 then flopped for the rest of the day. I hope you managed to talk with your MT. This will really be a Xmas we will all never forget and we are so lucky to have had it. It’s very cold here today but a walk is on the cards for later.
Bluesky- hope you had a good day. Face Time has made so much difference to so many people. Being able to speak to all our family and see them when they are so far away is wonderful. Thank goodness there were no technical problems eh!!
Henetha- I hope you had a good as well as busy Xmas day.
Lavender- hope your enjoyed your first Christmas in
your new home.

Morning all x FaceTimed DSs and families yesterday as normal for us long distance grans, a lot of people would have done this for the first time. While I’m very grateful that there is such fantastic technology, it also makes me rather emotional. Still it’s as good as it gets. How long are these strange festivities going on for?

Evening all. Just a quick visit to say I picked DH up at 5,30 and he is now home. We are both very tired and he looks weary beyond all measure but at least he’s home.

Doodle I’m sorry that your DH won’t be home for Christmas. I see that you can’t visit either, I hope that you’ll be ok.
Joce Sorry that you’re still not feeling good. These restrictions definitely make things tough. Hopefully the vaccine will get ramped up so that we can have it sooner than later.

That application for an electric wheelchair can’t be right. You can hardly get about. First thing after Christmas I would be on the phone to the OT that visited you and your GP and see what can be done. You must be a high priority I would think.
Nice to get some bulbs. They’ll be up before you know it.

When you picture me think of a slim elegant lady in her mid 70s with a long slender neck and high cheekbones dressed in a deep blue velvet gown.........no it’s nothing like me at all.. but a girl can dream ?
