After having reflux for several months, I saw my gastroenterologist who due to my stomach pain has advised a ct scan

Is it the process of having the scan you want to know about ? Or to talk about the reasons for having it ?I had one last year for lower abdominal pain and found the actual process fine.

Sorry I should have made it clearer, the reasons for having one really!

My friend had one a few weeks ago. It turned out she had diverticulitis.
It was in place of an endoscopy, less invasive.
Wishing you all the best.

I hope it goes well TN - my experience isn’t relevant then. Glad you are receiving care and tbat you don’t have to wait too long.

My GP said that’s what they are mostly doing at the moment instead of an endoscopy because of the corona virus emergency. I’ve be referred, so I hope it will be the CT rather than the endoscopy.

Thankyou suziewoozie. Yes bluesky I did think that too, oh god I’m hoping I don’t have to have that, but I did ask him what tests I would be having he said well we will start with ct scan, and did mention my last colonoscopy was 5 years ago so that’s due too
