Just that. I suffer from palpitations and when had a heart monitor few months ago actually had very few ectopic beats. Recently had the most horrendous long episode of erratic heartbeats. Dr said to contact the surgery next time. So would this be useful to have? Has anybody got one?

I was not aware they were for home use. I cannot see the point if you cannot read the result as one can with a blood pressure monitor.

The only thing is that if the monitor tells you you have a problem you will either call your GP or call an Ambulance, if you feel you have a problem but the monitor doesn’t tell you, you will still call your GP or call an Ambulance wouldn’t you?
Only you know if your body has a problem and if it’s your heart then best to get GPS advice rather than just leave it because a machine tells you it seems ok.
