Minimoon I use Nizoral and alternate it with Garnier oat milk shampoo followed by the same conditioner for sensitive scalp.

you need a scalp treatment such as Nizoral or selsum as other posters said....... really massage into scalp!

I was advised by a trichologist(?) to use shampoo that has no sulfates or parabens. Works most of the time for me.

I would try Nizoral shampoo to relieve the dandruff/itchy scalp. You can use conditioner after shampooing with it.

Try conditioner-only washing. I had a similar problem, and someone recommended it - it works for me. You wash once with an ordinary shampoo, and the from there onwards, wash only with silicone-free conditioner instead of shampoo.

There is nothing to stop you using the dandruff shampoo with your usual conditioner either on the ends or throughout your hair.
My hairdresser told me to put my conditioner through my hair after shampooing and put on a shower cap the leave on for as long as I like, every now and then. Works beautifully.

Take a look at a product called Selsun, I have found it works.

My hair has got drier and more wiry in recent years. I now use a hair mask for dry hair instead of conditioner and that calms it down more.

My DD had this and she went to see the doctor about it and was prescribed something for it.

I understand the Philip Kinglsey products and advice is good for people with problem scalps.
