Have you had your COVID injection yet? Mine is on 4th Feb. and the next one in April. Be glad to get it over with! Phew. Maybe things are looking up at last. I’m 76 years old.

Had ours today. 71 and DH 73.

Nope, Paddyanne. She’s been in her house over 30 years. Same medical practice, too. She hasn’t even been away overnight for years as she doesn’t feel safe anywhere else, because her arthritis means she’s worried about falling in strange surroundings.

Not heard anything yet. OH is 71 and I’m 69. DDs in laws are older than us and both had theirs before Christmas.

A woman on the local Facebook page was 67 and has had hers. She might have underlying condition I tell myself!

Our surname begins with V so probably towards the bottom of the list.

We only got the message for covid test late at night with the appointment for the next morning so I do check before settling down at night. We are in the West Midlands.

I`m having mine on Monday, Feb 1st, the second one in April. I`m 77.

SD has your mother moved home recently an dforgotten to give the change of address? You should contact her health board and she why she has been missed off their list ,it could be something quite simple as her not being registered to vote in that area .My MIL had hers 2 weeks ago but her cousin who is nearly 90 hasn't had hers, seems she had been staying with her daughterover christmas/New year and didn't let them know she was back home now they know they can get her jagged .

Mum, aged 89 had her first jab early January. She had an appointment for the 2nd jab 3 weeks later but this was cancelled. Friends aged 75 getting their first this Saturday. Dh and I are both 68. No sign yet. Not really expecting our jabs before March. Any earlier would be a bonus.

We are having ours on February 8th - we are both 77. I am watching News Night and there is a feature on how people feel about being vaccinated; the number of people, young and old, who say they won’t be vaccinated is staggering, we can’t wait get ours.

I’m enjoying reading the ages of everyone!!

Esspee Thu 28-Jan-21 22:34:42

We are in Scotland and the over 70s are currently being vaccinated.

Kate1949 Thu 28-Jan-21 21:34:28

No news yet (I'm 71) but my husband had his appointments come through today (he's 74) so I'm sure mine won't be long.

SueDonim Thu 28-Jan-21 21:23:39

That’s shocking, Jane10! Maybe Holyrood wants to kill off all the oldies. sad

4xGranny Thu 28-Jan-21 20:34:04

I have had mine this morning. I’m 70 years old. My husband aged 75 had his last Thursday. They are really getting through them in Staffordshire.

Daisymae Thu 28-Jan-21 20:30:44

No, still doing over 80s here. DH is over 70 and ECV so hoping it won't be long.

Jane10 Thu 28-Jan-21 20:23:29

I'm really fed up. I was supposed to be getting mine end of February but now it's not till end of April beginning of May with second jab (or jag as they used to be called up here) in July/August. Why can't Scotland just be as organised as England?!

Whitewavemark2 Thu 28-Jan-21 18:35:25

I’m 75 on Monday, and having mine on Sunday. It’s the Pfizer one.

merlotgran Thu 28-Jan-21 16:37:38

I'm 73 and having mine tomorrow.

SueDonim Thu 28-Jan-21 15:49:55

My mum is in her mid-90’s. She hasn’t heard a squeak about having the vaccine here in Scotland. sad

silverlining48 Thu 28-Jan-21 14:46:24

I know so many people who have had theirs, some under 70 with no health issues. Our neighbours had theirs at our surgery. ...must remain calm. envy

maryrose54 Thu 28-Jan-21 14:11:33

We are in a Norfolk town. I am 66, OH 63, both having ours this week.

tanith Thu 28-Jan-21 14:07:24

72 here but I’ve heard nothing.

grannysyb Thu 28-Jan-21 13:33:19

I'm 73 and had mine last week.

silverlining48 Thu 28-Jan-21 13:27:20

No, over 70 and haven't heard a squeak. Can’t wait to get it done as we live in our county’s highest rate area both covid and the new variant.
