Two weeks on from my original post I still have red dry spots on my arms and legs. I’ve been moisturising twice daily and although a slight improvement they are still there! I’ve seen an ad for Stinky Stuff!! Anyone tried it?

Have you seen or sent a picture to the doctor

Yes Bluebelle have sent two lots of photos. Nurse emailed back saying skin very dry so use Aveeda products and also prescribed hydrocortisone cream. But it’s stubborn to clear!

I bought some Stinky Stuff for my dog but can’t actually remember what I bought it for: it may have been for puppy dander. Sounds to me as if you need some betnovate or something like that to calm it down.

Sorry: missed the last sentence. I get eczema in various places and found that balneum helps.

Use Aqueous cream in the shower. It's a soap substitute & very cheap over the counter. Apply and lightly rinse off. Don't rub. Pat yourself dry. Helps to moisturise skin & is recommended for eczema conditions.
Our skin is an organ just like liver, kidneys, brain etc. If you've got some internal "inflammation" it can show in your skin. Getting to the source of that can be challenging. Could be something you eat or a lack of a certain mineral or vitamin? See a skin specialist when C19 relaxes maybe? Good luck. I hope it gets better soon & our posts have been helpful.

I really don’t like Aqueous cream. To be honest I think Aveeno is better as a soap substitute.

It contains sodium Laurel sulphate which isn’t very good for your skin.
