L'Oreal Age Perfect Rosy Glow always makes me look brighter and fresher.

I am not sure anything really works. When I don't get a good nights sleep it is very evident in my face and nothing I do helps really. It proves that good sleep is really important!

eyelash curlers - makes your eyes look more awake!

Good suggestions here . Garnier restoring hemp cream fairly good & a face mask weekly also useful

I tried the L'Oreal Rosy Glow but it doesn't suit me - just makes my face look shiny and a bit of a weird colour. I finished the pot by mixing it with another day cream.

I have tried the L'Oreal Revitalift filler day ad night creams and that did seem to make a nice difference to the appearance of my skin in the morning.

A good splash of cold water is what usually wakes my skin up in the morning.

I recently started using L'oreal Revitalift Filler regime with night and day moisturisers, replumping ampoules and eye cream. Even after a few days my skin looks so much more refreshed and I don't look so tired any more!

Having tried almost every brand of skincare from high-end (almost £100 a pop) right across the spectrum, I've recently hit on the Nivea Q10 anti-wrinkle and anti-ageing range which is very affordable and really seems to make a difference. I use the night and day creams and am actually getting comments like how 'rested' I look, which I take as a compliment for implying I look a few years younger which is always a bonus!

After removing any make-up with Simple Cleansing Lotion I use a liberal amount of Boots VitE cream I have used these products for quite a while now and in the morning I can say my skin looks reasonable and wide awake.

I have started using the elixir product from Tropic skincare and it feels great. I think it helps with improving the look of my skin,

I am also drinking a lot mire water and cutting out most caffeine to try help.

Another fan of Clarins Flash Balm here! Also Mac's pro longwear paint pots for blotchy eyelids. Works a treat for Zoom meetings..

eye gel (kept in the fridge) followed by ELF concealer and a good cream blush from laura mercia

Pan Stick on the bluish discoloured bits. Some pale reddish product or other blended over point of chin, cheek bones, and upper forehead.

MOnika, I agree about the use of masks. I have been outdoors in a mask without needing to instal my false tooth or smile sociably.

Sleeping on a silk pillowcase helps a lot - no crease lines on your skin in the morning (& good for your hair too)! I like to use the Hay’ou jade tool on my face in the morning (helps with lymphatic drainage & de-puffs) and literally takes 1 minute. Trinny London BFF is also an excellent complexion lifter as is AYU’s Radiant Skin Cream.

Think I might try the Rosy Glow after reading this thread

Cold cotton wool halves ( cut a circle pad in half so it fits under your eyes ) soak in cold water then apply to under eye area works well followed by concealer.
Failing that a week long relaxing holiday ?

I forgot to mention another recent discovery. Nuxe’s Huile Prodigieuse Or. I’ve used the oil for ages and it’s great for my dry skin, but this particular one has a bit of a tint to it as well.

Shinamae Tue 16-Mar-21 08:55:36

That ordinary caffeine solution

The Rosy Glow works for my pasty face. I tone it down a bit by mixing in whatever white cream I have, as I was starting to look a bit too ruddy!

There’s a night cream as well, slightly paler in tone.

I've just looked at Rosy Glow on Amazon but there are lots of different ones. Could someone be more specific, please?

I use the day cream without SPF.
There is also a day cream with SPF 20; a serum; and a night cream.
It's just personal choice, there is lots of info about the various products on Amazon

Clarins Flash Balm for face and Flash Balm for eyes

I swear by Hourglass dim light ambient powder and always lipstick , despite masks . It makes me feel better and I wear it for myself not for others to see necessarily.

I use Eve Taylor products on the recommendation of the lovely lady who, in normal times, ‘fixes’ my face. Dynamic hydrating toner after cleansing and rejuvenating Aromatic Serum seem to be helping smooth out the lumps bumps and lines. What I really need is a dose of sunshine for a bit of colour and feel good factor ?
