Rosy Glow works for me, too, and I find a light coat of mascara makes me look more awake. Lipstick is a must!

Nowadays I would go for a face mask. Personally I prefer home made to the packs of ten available in supermarkets. They just do not fit as well.

Not only that, but masks are the height of fashion at the moment and you can go anywhere wearing one. Supermarket run, or red carpet event, you are not dressed if you are not wearing a mask.

Another vote for L'Oreal Rosy Glow here. It makes me look less pasty.

PaperMonster- doesn't the eyelash perm stuff make your eyes sting? I remember having "perms" on my hair back in the 70s and my eyes watered for days afterwards! And the smell shock

Eye drops followed by a serum and moisturiser. I go and have breakfast, then clean my teeth again and put on some more moisturiser and a slick of foundation, just enough to remove any blotchiness and if I have dark circles, then I use a concealer. I use Clarins products mainly but have just bought some Trinny. A bit of colour on my face also works wonders!

Bare Minerals Well Rested eye powder works wonders for me, along with my Rosy Glow moisturiser (also bought on recommendation by Gransnetters!) Although the Well Rested is a powder, it is very light and does not settle into any creases - I just use it under my eyes and on the dark areas on the inside corners.

Usually my lipstick but there is no point now with mask on. But I sweep a cheap blusher over my face Beautiful Bronze shimmer brush it works miracles.

Currently using Tropic skincare which I really like. However, having my eyelashes tinted and permed is the only thing that really makes me look wide awake!!

L’Oreal Rosy Glow, recommended to me by a few Gransnetters. I was looking less than glowing thanks to lockdown!

Ha ha! Good question. Only finally getting a good run of decent nights sleep really do the trick for my face

Do you have an under-eye concealer you swear by? Cucumber on the eyelids? A triple layer of foundation? Bronzer? What’s your go-to product for tricking the world into thinking you’ve had your full quota of shut-eye?
