It’s a strange sensation!
I think the longer it’s in the more your body relaxes and you then don’t notice it.
I have been catheterised a few times due to a kidney problem.
I always get UTI within hours of it being removed.

I hope you make a speedy recovery.

I've had a catheter fitted after a biopsy on a tumour in my bladder. I'm home now with the catheter for the next 7 days. Never had one before. I have a permanent feeling of needing the loo although I know the catheter is working. Has anyone any experience of this? Can't say I'm in pain but it's very uncomfortable. Nurses were all wonderful and just told me not to worry. Thanks for any replies.
