After tests to ensure nothing sinister is going on my GP thinks I have IBS. This is triggered by worry and certain foods. I think dairy milk is a culprit so have switched to non dairy milk . Have tried soya , oat and various others - spoilt for choice in supermarket! Things have improved, but I have to take great care. Which milks do others find is their favourite and will I be getting sufficed calcium?
I would appreciate your views.

I use coconut milk to make my breakfast porridge. I can have cow's milk. But my son had to stop having it after a virus made him have an upset tummy everytime he has anything with cow's milk. He tried other non diary milk and liked coconut the best. As I had it in when he visited I used some to see what it was like. Tastes fine in tea and to make sauces it's unsweetened and doesn't taste of coconut. I buy stores own. Aldi have just started to sell it there's is the cheapest.

I take a calcium and vitamin D and K tablet and cod liver oil one everyday. It's important to take calcium and vitamin D especially for menopausal women.
