Woke up to rain - cue sneezing and stuffed up nose (TMI)
I have blamed my various snuffles this year on 1) grass pollen 2) dust mites 3) tree pollen 4) hay fever 5) even the dog and finally 6) got a box of Lateral Flow tests.
Can’t blame the grandchildren who usually spread the lurve because I have hardly seen them , so it must be the rain!
Bit of a bu**er living in our climate ! ☔️☔️☔️

It's the change in temperature that sets off my Sneezing MawBe.
Could it be the same for you?
Plus all the other things you mentioned.
The first strong sun of the year, and the first chilly day after hot weather does itconfused

MawB You may well be allergic to what's in the rain. I thought my GP was joking when, years ago, I kept getting a swollen throat - not sore, but _very- painful. She looked at my notes and said that, as I am allergic to all the 'mouldy' (mycins) antibiotics it could well be that, under certain conditions, I could be allergic to rain! I thought she was joking, but she explained that, after a very hot dry period of weather, then rain, there were more mould spores in the air. Hence the reaction to rain! HTH

That would make sense! As the day progresses, the sneezing /coughing passes off and I feel less wretched. I sometimes just take an antihistamine but don’t like taking pills unless I really have to!
Thank you!
