Hi, Has anybody heard of or tried the Lady Magnet.
You keep it in you pants in order to help with the menopause.

Other than getting dragged towards anything metal ;) what are the pros and cons if any.

A friend of mine used it and swore by it after having premature onset menopause.

I wore one for a while. It made no difference at all!

I read the title and expected a thread about Tom Jones.

I hadn't heard of it until now. I think I'd be so busy worrying about it dropping out of my knickers it would totally take my mind off the symptoms of menopause ... so could actually be a win ?

???oh this does sound funny I can just imagine a metal post with a few ladies all stuck on it in various positions

Sounds like a load of bunkum to me

I wondered who it would be!

We had a thread about this a while ago, I remember a funny story about a shopping trolley. Whoever posted it, please come and post it again!

Save your money and buy a bottle of wine instead wink

Am I the only one, or has anyone else wondered if it might interfere with your hearing aid?

Ohmother Sun 08-Aug-21 17:20:49

A friend was using one and went to make herself a cup of coffee in the crowded staff room only to turn around with the teaspoon stuck on the lower area of her dress. ?

Let this plight of this hamster be a lesson to us all about having magnets about our person....

I think the funny story might have been from Phoenix. I miss her humour on here!

A friend of mine is obsessed with anything that will help with menopause symptoms. She tried the magnet but it didn't do anything. She takes sage tablets and starflower ones. Some of the things she has tried are bizarre. She is an intelligent woman but when it comes to menopause will try any crack pot idea going.

My worry about the magnet what it it drops in your pants. I am as nature intended . To put it bluntly hairy what if it got stuck in my hair. It's bad enough if my panty liner twists and some of the sticky bit sticks to my hair.

I am 63. Had total hysterectomy when I was 38 and was put on HRT for 16 years then was taken off it. I have hot flushes and night and day sweats. But just put up with it . I have quite a few health problems so I am not going to mess about with things for the menopause. I have made peace with it .

I know some women stuffer terribly from symptoms and need medical help. But for me it's just part of being a woman .

Thanks Ladies, I was hoping for a little miracle, but there you go.
I can't be on hrt any more and I loved it, I felt very good on it, so without it now. I'm feeling it

Grannynannywanny Mon 09-Aug-21 16:55:40

Sorry you’re not feeling so good minxie . Any reports I’ve read suggest the medical profession are sceptical about it. But there are also reviews from women who swear by it. I hope you can find something that helps.
