You maybe should ask whoever performed the X-ray. They are likely to be more qualified than anyone here.

You appear to still have cartilage between your knee caps whereas people with severe arthritis tend to have none, ie are bone on bone. You may well have the early stages of osteoarthritis, only an expert could diagnose that but think you are a long way of needing treatment other than pain relief.

But I am no expert although I have seen my own X-rays which show very damaged worn down bones.

When my doctor saw a diagram a consultant had done of a knee (mine) he went omigod whose knee is that. That was years ago.It’s even worse now! I’d give anything for that amount of cartilage!

Oszlyk - I can’t believe you are asking total strangers without any medical knowledge as far as you know, for advice based on x-rays.
There is a reason doctors and radiologists study and train for years .
I’m not sure what a “traumatologist” is - can’t you see your GP?

OA of the knees is graded 1-4, 4 being bone to bone. I cannot believe you have put a photo of your xrays online- one needs to see the xray in the flesh so to speak.

You obviously do not live here because we do not have traumatologists in this country and if we did, they would work specifically in the A&E dept.

You need to see a doctor for advice, not a random bunch of strangers, some with and most without medical knowledge.

A lot depends on your age and lifestyle.
