Had for only couple of days, but so painful, I went out and bought iglu pastilles , was after rinstead but apparently been discontinued, Anyone else suffer from these awful things?

I do sometimes and I use the Iglu rapid relief gel. I put a bit on at night and the ulcer is usually better the next day.

I’ve had mouth ulcers on and off for several weeks - think its because l’m a bit run down after a heavy cold - so now taking some extra multivitamins - perhaps look at your diet to - sometimes certain foods can cause problems - like tomatoes or acidic fruit - hope yours clear up - they are uncomfortable ?

Funny you should ask that. Right now, I can feel a little pimple inside my bottom lip. But it’s not painful. I hope you get some help and advice soon. And I also hope the suggestions work ….

Corsodyl mouth wash is good for mouth ulcers and they do a much more palatable mint flavour now too.

I used to buy corlan pellets but they’re prescription only now.

Frequent mouth ulcers can be a sign of pre diabetes. Get a blood glucose test done.

Mine were caused by gluten intolerance. Once I eventually got that sorted ulcers disappeared.

Mine were also caused by gluten intolerance - sometimes I would have as many as 6 large mouth ulcers at a time and it was impossible to eat.

I rarely get one since cutting out gluten, unless I stab myself with the toothbrush.

I used to have a mouthful of huge ulcers a lot which stopped when I stopped eating pineapple. They are full of some sort of acid apparently.

I still get them now and again, usually because I've bitten myself! Always have one after a visit to the dentist.

I use adult Bonjela. Only a temporary relief though

I have had mouth ulcers on and off for years and really miss Rinstead pastilles. Now I buy Superdrug's own brand. They help a lot.
