Morton’s neuroma

I've got one that I didn't even know about, I must be really lucky because it gives me no pain (touch wood) they discovered it when I was having an ultrasound for something else. Good luck though because I believe it can be really painful.

Thank you so much for your kind replies which has given me a bit more inside information. Have already had two operations on my feet for unrelated problems which, in turn caused different problems, so you can understand my hesitance. Thanks again.x

Me too. Had operation (the neuroma was removed through the sole of my foot) and it was a success - I had no pain, and never even had to take any pain relief after the op. Recovery wasn't long, but it was months and months before the feeling that I was walking with a pebble in my shoe stopped. Had the op about 10 years ago and have had no problems since - was well worth doing. Good luck.

Me too....twice!
Two operations as well.
The first op removed it from the underside of the foot, which took quite a while to heal, but the second one was done on the top of the foot, yes, the little scar is visible but made walking much easier.
Such painful things aren’t they? Limping around on them.
Definitely have the op done, it’s worth it.

Originally had it injected under ultrasound which did help, it solves a lot of the problem But I eventually had to have my foot realigned as my toes , were causing the problem.
It was painful but it was the surgery on my feet that was the painful part.
Do you know what caused it?
I have no problem now.
