I’ve been diagnosed with a torn tendon in my shoulder and the joint is unstable following an MRI scan.
I’ve been offered an operation to put a few stitches in to stabilise the joint and to repair the tendon.
I’ve turned this down as I’ve had 12 operations in my lifetime and can’t face another. The surgeon has referred me back to my physio. Has anyone had anything similar and managed to treat it without surgery? I do understand that it won’t heal itself.
