Sorry if this topic has been covered before, but I am thinking of buying one of these machines to help blood circulate back up from the lower legs and feet. My legs feel so heavy and sometimes ache, too, I wondered if anyone had tried these "gadgets", (the one I saw was called Revive, I think). From the information, you seem to place your feet on the flat "shoes" and the machine does the rest. They do seem expensive, and I won't waste money, so any feedback would be very welcome.

There was a long thread about this sometime ago, not sure many people recommended the machine! You must not use it with a pacemaker. I think you would do much better to sit with your legs ups above your hips.

We’ve got a very old Circulation booster, just looked and that’s the name on the machine. We got it some years back when I was diagnosed with Raynauds syndrome. It didn’t seem to do much good and was stuck in a corner gathering dust but on the advice of the physio I’ve been seeing I’ve been using it three times a day for half a hour at a time. It’s made a lot of difference in reducing the swelling in my feet and helped in the of the painful pressure area that I got from staying in bed for a week.

You should not use one if you have had joint replacements because over time the joints will loosen.
