I was telling a friend about my sore hip this morning. She is a farmers wife and swears by udder cream for all her pains. Has anyone tried this. I really don't see how it could work.

I used to use udder cream on my goats and it was very good for my hands (stage blood is also good for your hands because it's full of glycerine)

My mother always used it.

Sore how? Udder creams tend to be a mix of ingredients such as aloe vera, zinc, castor oil, lanolin etc that you would find in many cosmetic products for dry skin. Some contain cetrimide which is the same antiseptic chemical used in Savlon.

Well this is disappointing.
I was hoping for something exotic and sexy.

DH used it during chemotherapy. Skin lesions on scalp, face, trunk, hands, feet. Ordered from A****n after advice from cancer support group. We didn’t use the “farmers” stuff but we know other folk have.
