Radiation damage after Cancer Treatment

My wife has fibrosis of the upper lobe of one lung due to RT years ago. It's permanent but only reduces the capacity of that lung by a small amount. Stereotactic RT (SABR) is said to be less likely to cause local damage but I suspect it's not always applicable.

Do do?
My damn fingers.i dread to think what would happen if I was let loose in an office.
