HRT shortage

That doesn't make sense, if you need them, then you need them, not just for three months. I have been on HRT for 29 years now, following a very early hysterectomy. Sometimes you just have to stand your ground!

This has been going on for a long time now but does not seem to be getting resolved.
The GP stopped my patches and I only found out when I went to pick up my repeat prescription.
I thought 'oh well, I've been on them for a long time, maybe it's time I tried doing without them'.
I went round the supermarket the other day soaking wet and at 2.00am next morning I was up trying to dry myself with toilet paper. I felt awful and had three asthma attacks in 24 hours where it is normally maybe one a week.
I managed to get a telephone appointment and the GP reluctantly said I could have them back for three months.
