Just seen a gynaecologist for the same thing. Had a Pessary fitted and what a difference, as well as a great relief! The Pessary will have to be changed every 6 months by the practice nurse and I am waiting to see a gynae physio to strengthen my pelvic floor. My prolapse was likely caused by my hyper mobility. I was waiting to be told to loose weight but that was never mentioned.
Good luck and hope yours is sorted out quickly.

There are now pelvic floor specialists, usually physios I think, who might be able to help. There are a range of treatments, depending on your needs. Yes, lifting heavy weights might be best avoided. Do you have equipment such as hoists? If not, maybe you will be able to get help to source that sort of thing?
