Bleeding after procedure

Im probably not much help but I just wanted to answer you as I know how horrible it can be when you are worrying about something and can't sleep. My thoughts would be......
To try and call the ward where you were kept in overnight (try hospital switchboard and explain what procedure you had to get put through to correct ward). Or try contacting NHS 111 and explain the situation to them. They will hopefully get a doctor to call you back.

Also check if you have a Discharge letter...there might be further advice or instructions on that.

Does your surgery have a Pharmacist?
If so you could try and talk to him/her.

Read your discharge letter there might be a number to call if you have symptoms.
If not phone your practise and when you eventually get through explain your predicament and say you wish to speak to a Dr. They might have had letters by now from the hospital and can give you some advice.Or 111.

I would do as Palmtree suggested and ring the ward.
I did this after I found bleeding after an operation. They saw me straight away.

I also would ring the Consultant/his secretary or the ward.

Ring 111

stop blood thinners and ring 111 for advice if no answer 999 for advice.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I tried the ward but they told me to go through 111 which I did and eventually spoke to a very nice female doctor. In a nutshell she said you won’t die from blood in the urine, but you could die from leaving off the thinners 🥴🤷‍♀️ …. Basically it will settle …. And I must say it seems to be improving a few hours after the thinners have made it bloody again. Fingers crossed 🫰🏻 Xx
