I have been prescribed topirimate again fro my migraines. It worked really well before for around 18 months but then the migraine came back. As my GP felt he had tried all the other options he decided to give it another go and after several weeks of rather unpleasant side effects - everything tasted foul! - my migraines are less frequent. Haven't heard anything about not taking them for only six months though. The only thing that helps when I get a migraine - and I have tried everything- is an ice-cold compress on my eyes, lots of menthol rub on my forehead an Imigran injection and peace and quiet. A hot cup of tea and a brioche bun with butter as soon as the migraine starts to ease. Have had migraines for almost 55 years and they can be terribly debilitating.
Churchill to be axed from British banknotes in the name of diversity.
