A knee pillow

I think you can buy specially shaped knee pillows. I’ve used a smaller than normal size cushion in the past.

I use an ordinary pillow for my knees. You might try a thinner one. Wouldn’t have thought a special knee pillow would be much different ( but would cost more).

Knee pillows on Amazon range from £10-£20.

I use a small square cushion pad - very cheap to buy. I have a couple - they wash easily in the washing machine.

Hi NanKate I’ve used one for a while now and it certainly helps with the knee pain that was waking me up. I’m waiting for a hip replacement and it also keeps my hips aligned as I sleep on my side. If the link doesn’t work, it’s an Everlasting Comfort one. The only slight problem is that the strap sometimes detaches itself but pillow usually stays in place. No painful knees waking me up, didn’t realise I had heavy knees!
I bought a more discreet one for travel, which is heart shaped and has a fixed strap.

I use a thin, ordinary pillow between my knees/legs. (I'm "side sleeper".) DH uses a "proper" knee pillow. It's just a question of personal preference, IMO.

DH has used a thin normal pillow for many years - he has knobbly knees too.

i have seen the ads on TV. I wish I had a stake in the company these will sell rapidly and reliably.

Got mine from Amazon and love it! They really are worthwhile.

I bought apple shaped knee pillow on Amazon, best thing I have done. It keeps your hips apart which relieves pressure on your legs and gives you a good nights sleep. Definitely recommend.

I use an old ordinary pillow which isn't too fat between my knees every night. The metal or plastic which my knees are made of don't seem to like each other .

I find the specially shaped one much better as it is firm as there is no filling to move about.
Mine is the one advertised on TV.

I use an ordinary pillow too, a firm but thinnish one. I just cover it in a pillowcase. I started using it initially because of the bony knee problem when I sleep on my side, but it keeps my hips aligned too.

I use a smallish cushion which I have covered in a silky material which makes it easy to move about in bed.

I bought a special knee pillow but didn’t get on with it as it was too high and hard. If you want one you can have mine. I found a pillow much better. Then I had a tooth out and had to sleep on my back. After a week most of my back ache and sciatica had gone.
