it will pass, after having mine syringed many years ago everything was so very loud I had to put a small bit of cotton wall in my ears till it settled down.

my surgery doesn't do ears anymore, you have to go private. Many opticians do syringing now and we have an audio shop on the high street called 'hidden hearing' for

Be careful with ears, most surgeries have stopped syringing and recommend the use of microsuction system instead.

As for feeling dizzy after having liquid in your ears, yes it’s common - so I was told after it happened to me when I had micro suction at the hospital recently.

I once fainted when a GP was drying one of my ears after syringeing them. That was over 40 years ago. She thought she'd gone too near to my ear-drum.

Nowadays, once in a while, I use bicarbonate of soda drops whenever my ears feel a bit clogged and that does the trick of softening it enough for 'home syringeing' using one of those Calpol syringes a coupe of times.

I probably shouldn't be encouraging people to do this but I've done it for many years now without ever having a problem. So long as the water you use and the syringe are clean....

Hope your dizziness goes soon.
