My DH is suffering from this painful and debilitating condition which had a quite sudden onset. He’s just received an hospital neurology appointment for late Feb! Does anyone have experience of this illness and any advice? Thank you.

My late friend’s DH has this. Over the years, he’s had several operations, some successful, some not.
A Sheffield Hospital has the best record, apparently so they were happy to travel down from Durham for the ops.

I remember I had this very painful condition for a few months. I triggered it in the morning when I started to eat. The pain was dreadful.

I started drinking through a straw that helped, avoiding chewing and codeine. I also had acupuncture.
