I look at the thread every day to see how everyone is getting on. I’m a bit isolated due to the support my husband needs and just catching up on others’ progress is really helpful.
I’m finding that the only way I can get any sleep is to lie back on my recliner, which I end up doing a couple of hours after trying to sleep in bed. I need to bend my knee and I do find that uncomfortable while in bed. I have a 90 degree bend on my knee, which I’m quite happy with and I can manage this fine while on the recliner. I did try to do the exercises, as I mentioned in my earlier post, but gave up and just walked about the house and I think (hope) that this will suffice. I walk in the garden with a stick. I’ve found that regular paracetamol works for me now, and haven’t used Oramorph for a few days. I haven’t ventured further than the garden, and am absolutely desperate to get out somewhere and do ordinary things, but I know this will come. I see my consultant early next month, so I hope I’ve been doing everything right!
