yes, I was diagnosed with this pain in the sternum area.. it did eventually clear up. strange thing was that my
adult granddaughter was diagnosed a few months before in another surgery so had heard of the word before. yes cleared up eventually

Anyone else had the above? Got it from coughing too much with this pesky dry cough.
I thought I was having a heart attack at first with pain in my sternum but then realised it was going in too long and I literally have no other symptoms other than pain and still the cough

GO recommends painkillers ( but not ibuprofen as I am in BP meds)

Not sure how long it will last?
