How can they be sure it’s the result of the vaccine MissA look at all the children who ‘got’ autism after their MMR but its now well known it was not down to their jabs or do you think they are just telling us that to keep us quiet
Our son was definitely affected by the MMR vaccine and we have video evidence to prove it. He was born in 1991 and it was acknowledged later that there were some bad batches around in the early nineties. We don't think that the MMR caused his autism but we think it was exacerbated by the vaccine in that it might have remained dormant had he not had it. Many other parents felt the same way. Research also showed that certain children, particularly those who had allergies, should have the vaccines separately. Our second son was given the first dose but not the booster, as this was when the research was coming through. We paid for our daughter to be vaccinated with single injections against measles and rubella. I am not anti- vaccine, but I think if the government had allowed a choice between single vaccines spaced out and the all-in-one, it would have allayed a lot of fears. Many people, including here, are saying that nothing is foolproof and there will be people affected along the way, but never mind because overall the benefits outweigh the risks. This may well be true, but if it is a member of your family who is affected, your point of view may understandably be somewhat different.
