Pubic rami fracture

Has anyone else suffered a pubic rami fracture? It is now 9 weeks since I sustained it and it is still quite painful. I have had very little information from my GP/A&E, no physio instructions - I googled the exercises. I am still not sure what I can and cannot do yet. So frustrating. Any ideas gratefully received

I had a fractured pelvis a few years ago Flo122 no treatment apart from rest and 9 physio sessions which really helped. I have to say it was a very painful injury.

My best friend broke her pelvis earlier in the year she’s 88 and after a few weeks rest she was up and running (well not running but absolutely fine) I was amazed at how well she did

I'm sorry you're going through this. It's best to consult a physiotherapist for tailored exercises and recovery guidance. In the meantime, gentle, pain-free movements and rest are key.

I can really sympathise, I broke my pubic rami at the start of July and only returned to work last Thursday. The pain was horrendous and the hospital sent me home after 2 days with a walking frame. Two weeks ago I started using a stick which means I can get about a lot easier but I still get pain if I overdo the walking. Also no instructions from the hospital on what to do re exercise apart from I'd get a follow up appointment. It's now 7 weeks since the injury (I came off the back of a motorbike) and still not sure what I'm supposed to do. The physio at the hospital told me everything heals differently and some take longer than others but I'll update once I hear anything.
